Color exploded on men’s white sneakers like no others at Libertine’s New York Fashion Show for Spring 2016. The neon plastic chains and the baubles bobbing here and there were as colorific as you can get. A shoe-in for the most eccentric footwear at the shows, the Libertine designer, Johnson Hartig with stylist Maryann Malakpour, also showed women’s shoes equally as fab. Just one of the fab fashions by Libertine for #NYFW Spring 2016. “The collection was inspired by diverse sources, including German artist Blinky Palermo, Tibetan Buddhist Monks and Florescence microscopy cell research.” This has a boho chic ’70s feel, modernized, and worn with TIGI’s undone but polished deconstructed hair and deconstructed Hue hosiery and, well, check the details. Stay tuned for more from this fun show.
