HighHair 1980 – Brenda

Here is Damien Miano’s version of HighHair.
He explained “Black hair can be molded into HighHair or any shape, like a sculpture.
Vidal Sassoon called this HairMolding and predicted great success for this new art form.”

He said at the time: “softer textures usually need a curly perm, coarser textures usually
need relaxing.   And that black hair is ideal for HighHair.
It can be cut, relaxed, cut again or it can be cut, permed, conditioned, cut again,
depending on the texture of the hair and that there should be lots and lots of conditioning
with Vidal Sassoon Treatment Products.”
