Fairies and woodland nymphs, haunting beauties, as in Max Reinhardt’s 1935 film “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” inspired Peter Gray’s diaphanous dreamy hair and the romantic floaty fashions at Badgley Mischka’s NY Fashion Week Spring 2013 show.  The romantic ribbon-like hair had small random crimps, an airy effect as it floated angelically, with tiny flowers here and there as the finishing touch, That’s Mark Badgley, right, and James Mischka, left, in the collage,  For more and a tutorial, see Fashion Week Spring 2013 on www.helenoppenheim.com

    Ah, Graham Wren, brings back fond memories. Nothing compared to Sassoon’s back then. Loved high hair, c-shaping and anti-head shapes!

    Enjoyed video taping for you Helen. The best crew I ever had the privilege to work with. We were a family!
