“The Chromed Goddess” is a bohemian look with rustic, gold, dark colors, created by Kayla Stewart, Elysian Studio, who won a Keune “blonde contest” with a trip to New York for the Modern Artist Session. First, she smoothed the thick hair with a flat Iron, then with a tiny-plated 1″ crimper, she added texture, a Mohawk section on top, and teased the hair to do an inverted braid, leaving out pieces which then connected to a French braid. The low ponytail was crimped and teased, the ends left messy. Nails by Joanne Sorbello with different shades of tarnished metallic leafing. These photos were published in the March issue of Peluquerias Magazine, in my column.
