Plaid on the fashion runways inspired Nanci Lee, B2V Salon and Artistic Director, Great Lengths USA at Modern Artist Session. Burberry meets Rock ‘N’ Roll hair, makeup and nails. “I wanted to try my hand at emulating the tradition and edginess of plaid with hair as my canvas,” she said. There’s a Burberry-inspired plaid pattern on one side of an asymmetric shoulder length A-Line bob; the other side has a close-to-the-head square split braid echoing the design of the tartan. Before the shoot, she created the horizontal red and brunette stripes on invisible tape-in Smart Extensions using masking tape and Matrix hair color. David Maderich makeup and Joanne Sorbello nails help give all “Plaid-itude!” Published internationally with two pages in the March issue of Peluquerias Magazine, in my column.
