Iconic Fashion photo by Helmut Newton for American Vogue, 1974.  Two girls dancing in Maui, Hawaii.  I always loved this photo.  Everything about it.  Divine perfection.

“Fashion pictures rarely have any logic. Each one is a moment without a beginning or an end,” said Helmut Newton.  He warns: “You mustn’t take my pictures too seriously. Don’t look for a message, because there isn’t one.”   More from Helmut Newton’s 1984  provocative thriller of a book, Women Without Men, click

Wonderful photo. Cheryl Tiegs on the left and Rene Russo on the right. Both are Fashion and Beauty Icons. They are still beautiful today.
