Jorge Luis of Privé Salon created an edgy, young, downtown style for the Stella Nolasco show at Pier 59 during New York Fashion Week for Spring 2016. “I started with a high ponytail tied back into a braid,” he said. “However, I braided in a way so that it doesn’t look like a braid.” The contemporary mix of romantic and bohemian fashions had a the feel of the past, but were daring and modern, often sheer, like lingerie, with lots of lovely lace and tulle.
