Lollipop curls by La Coupe’s Kim Lepine looked new in 1993 and the look is still around today.
First, a gel for extra body, then the hair was set on long, thick household sponges.(Or now one would wrap hair diagonally around a curling iron.) The hair was not brushed or combed when dry, only gently pulled on the ends, especially around the face. A spritz of spray helped assure the Lollipops wouldn’t deflate.
