Nardos Amam’s opulent New York Fashion Week Collection for Fall/Winter 2024 was held at The Lotus Club. The couture and ready to wear fashions featured plants, birds, flowers – embroidered or appliqued onto the gorgeous gowns. The collection was inspired by the Gilded Age with a contemporary twist. The eye makeup by Marcello Costa was stunning, with 5,000 Swarovski crystals glittering from eyes, the hair by Brian Buenaventura for Cutler/Redken was casual, updos with wisps flying here and there, the hats and headgear by Christine A. Moore Millinery were fun, and elegant. It was all very elegant.
