Natural looking hair with long thin braids crisscrossed with white thread were to one side of the head at the dazzling Jonathan Simkhai New York Fashion Week Show for Spring 2017. “It was all about creating texture that isn’t too polished,” said Thomas Osborn who led the Catwalk by TIGI Team. “We wanted to keep the hair down and natural looking with an element of dry roughness to highlight the collection,” he said. Beads were added at the ends of some braids, and a long slim earring ending in a bead or two was on the other side of the head. High necks and fabric choker looks with long ends dangling were featured on many models in this show of romantic dresses for red carpets, galas, drop dead entrances.
