JOHN SAHAG APPRENTICESHIP. HE WAS VERY GOOD AND A VERY QUICK LEARNER IN MY HAIR SALON IN BEIRUT LEBANON (SALON SARKIS OF BEIRUT). AFTER TWO YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE, HE EMIGRATED TO AUSTRALIA WITH HIS PARENTS AND LATER, WENT TO WORK IN EUROPE AND FINALLY SETTLED IN NEW YORK WHERE HE ESTABLISHED FAME AND SUCCESS.
I WAS VERY HAPPY TO SEE HIM AGAIN IN 1993 DURING A SHORT VISIT TO THE STATES. HE WELCOMED ME LIKE ROYALTY. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT.
WE ALL REMEMBER HIM WITH GOOD AND WONDERFUL MEMORIES AND FONDNESS.
FROM ZAREH SARKIS SERGE JEREJIAN
Thank you so much for posting with your wonderful memories. He told me he had worked in a salon in Beruit. Just curious. How old was John then? I know he started young, but would love to know how young. ~H
Diana, how lovely. Yes, he was not a copy cat, and yes, he must be with Baron. Thank you.
I still think of John Sahag everyday.he still is a talent that carries on in many that he taught. People artist creators only come around once in life. John was a blessing to his crafe and to each life he touched! IN peace John we miss you always,
Love, Diana V.
