LLUIS LLONGUERAS DID SALVADOR DALI’S HAIR FOR 30 YEARS
The revolutionary surrealist painter, Salvador Dali came every 3 months to a Lluis Llongueras salon in Barcelona and one day Llongueras suggested curlers for fun to give his hair more volume and an airy feeling. “I asked him if he would be the first man who dared to be photographed with curlers in his hair. This kind of thought excited and attracted him and he dared, repeating the idea later in New York.” From the book “Mi Dali Particular” (“My Very Own Dali”) by Lluis Llongueras.
