Gamine For Curly Hair – 1987
Short curly hair looking soft and romantic, by Kim Lepine, from La Coupe’s 1987 Boudoir Hair Collection. The back was a soft “V” shaped, close to the head, small. “No more squared-off, cut-across or cut-up napes,” she said at the time. Kim Lepine had this rare talent of always making her hairstyles soft, pretty, feminine with charming little details, whether the hair was short, long, curly straight. She called these curls: “Tiny angel-like, delicious, sweet but not too sweet.” Hope you agree.
