It’s Easter.  How about this for your head and the parade?   A huge yellow romantic flower hat perched on top to one side of long loose curls by Jon Reyman, Aveda, for designer Carolina Rosales at the Argentine Designers Show at NY Fashion Week, Spring 2012.  There were  6 different designers who presented their fashions and Reyman created 6 different hair concepts, in a small space. Terrific Turban, Gamine, Sass & Bide – 2008

Love this delightfully ditzy terrific turban hat perched so charmingly atop short gamine hair, captured looking perfect right after one of the Sass & Bide fashion designers made it just so backstage at their NY Fashion Week Fall 2008 show.

This gamine was one short look amongst all the great crimped hair with unique hair embellishments at the witty wonderful show featuring ’40s harlequins designed by Australians Sass & Bide (Heidi Middleton and Sarah Jane Clarke.) Love These Braids by Edris – 2008

I always loved these braided looks for Tracy Reese at her Spring 2008 NY Fashion Week show.  Edris Nichols designed the retro-sportif beautiful loosely braided pigtails rolled to one side, then she messed up the ends, but not too much!  She says she was inspired by the ’30s through the ’70s and you can see more of them, including some great front views and a how-to  if you click here
