Midi Maxi Sheer @ Yanina Couture - 2022

Photos: Alexey Kolpakov

No short skirts or minis at the Yanina Couture Fall Winter 2022 Fashion Show held in Paris during the Haute Couture Fashion Week.  All skirts lengths were midi or maxi, the trendy length arriving as the stock market falls with skirt lengths, a historical trend dating back to the late ’20s.  We note  that trend-setter, Kate, England’s Duchess of Cambridge, has been wearing midi lengths which must have an impact.  Yulia Yania, Yanina’s Designer, however, was inspired by Audrey Hepburn, and her young, elegant, impeccable fashion silhouettes.  Take these two fab looks, inspired by the ’50s but as modern as can be.  The left one, a long’ish midi, puff sleeve effect, and on theme with a sheer bodice, petals placed strategically.   Leather leaves and petals decorate the gorgeous sheer maxi on the right – wear for a drop dead entrance.   To see 19 more photos archived on this website CLICK HERE
