Stills from David O’Selznick’s “Gone With the Wind.” Collage by helenoppenheim.com

It is 75 years today, Monday, December 15, 2014 since the World Premiere of David O’ Selznick’s “Gone With The Wind” in Atlanta, on December 15, 1939 starring Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O’Hara, Clark Gable as Rhett Butler and Scarlett’s Tara.

Take a look at some stills  from the movie, the most celebrated in movie history, then check out the Vivien Leigh-inspired hair, re-created with ringlets, the snood, the corset and more, by La Coupe’s Kim Lepine in 1987 for more versions and how-to’s (click here)  and my Guest Blog for ModernSalon for more (click here)
