Thiem’s US Open Champ & His Hair – 2020

Dominic Thiem, age 27, of Austria, became US Tennis Open Champion for 2020 in a crazy wonderful nail biter Final vs Alexander (Sasha) Zverev, age 23, of Germany. We didn’t know until the very last point who would win, which is as a good tennis final should be, but seldom is. Thiem’s hair color is also crazy, but not wonderful. It has had unnatural-looking frosted highlights for some time now (he once described it himself as a “fashion crime”) but it got worse when he messed it up during the lockdown and it seems he added more color disasters before the semi-finals. Dominic, if you want highlights, please know they should look more natural, be different sizes, more seemingly haphazardly placed, and toned so they are not so blonde on your dark well-cut great hair. The headband works, but not the highlights! Whatever, love your game and loved the match … but did feel bad for Zverez who, like you, has a great hair, as seen in these photos post-match, after 4 grueling hours and 5 sets.
