Fiber Optics Hair – 2016

Hair looking like a bolt from the blue, space-age hair with fiber optics, inspired by jellyfish and anemones. By Peter Gray with Erika Fung photographed at Daniel’s Spectrum for the 2016 Catwalk Show benefiting WaterAid and presented by Montpellier on May 1st in Toronto, sponsored by Civello. Made out of shredded hair with Aveda Control Force and adhesive glue, it was flattened with parchment paper, then airbrushed with blue color on the edges. Fiber optic lights were placed one by one on the sheet and fed through the middle of the headpiece, gathered in the center, then connected with led lights.
