Futuristic Women @ Bosideng NYFW – 2022

Futuristic women captured at the Bosideng Spring Summer 2023 New York Fashion Week Show designed by Toray Wang and styled by Creative Consultant Carine Roitfeld, the former Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Paris, now founder and editor-in-chief of CR Fashion Book.  Many of the fashions were a shiny licorice black, some knock-out dresses had peplums, some bare midriffs. See some men’s. fashions in collage below this one.

The hair had a viking warrior vibe.   “Not glamorous but with a raw texture,” said Rodney Cutler of his braids, which worked on different hair lengths. The makeup by Romana Lai was all about the eyes with black eyeliner, thicker on some upper lids, extended outwards.   For more on this show, CLICK HERE

Seen on Scene at New York Fashion Week for Fall 2016 – Courtney Covino, a makeup artist with Mac Cosmetics, photographed at the Francesca Liberatore New York Fashion Week Show for Fall 2o16 with rasta braids and beads, and a lot happening on that hair which is all dressed up with this and that, a trend.  Two nose rings, and colorofic tattoos complete the look.

Mac Cosmetics create makeup for over a hundred shows worldwide during Fashion Weeks, with over 300 makeup artists, all using a ton of makeup, in textures and colors we may all be wearing in future seasons. The Canadian-born makeup trendsetter, now owned by Estée Lauder Companies, have makeup artists backstage who make sure their hair is as interesting as their fashions and makeup.
