Vivienne Mackinder’s Formal Bridal Hair – 2011
This is Vivienne Mackinder’s Imperial Bridal hair, formal, with barrel curls and a tiara added for the most important day of her life. Mackinder, who was Fashion Director of Intercoiffure America/Canada at the time she created this look in 2011, advised all brides: “The hairstyle for your wedding day must fit the bride from the inside out, you should not only be seen as a fashion statement but also as an individual.” For More brides by this WorldGreat, and more wedding hair ideas, click HERE

5 Year Old Hairstylist On Stage – 2016
Magnolia Strebe is 5 years old. And already a hair pheonom. Here she is onstage styling hair at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City for the Intercoiffure America/Canada Fall Atelier in 2016. She has already gone viral on the internet with her You Tubes, been interviewed by People Magazine and made it online with some biggies. She can talk. With confidence. Even as she works on her updo. The future hairdresser to watch can be found on Instagram and Facebook @confessionsofaminihairstylist or through her Mother, Jenny Strebe (seen here with her on stage) – she has a educational hairstyling blog, and manages the tiny tot, who also gives hair tutorials and advice.

CommentMy Intercoiffure Blog On ModernSalon – 2015
It may ruffle a few feathers for this reason or that. But here is my Blog on modernsalon.com featuring photos I took during the Intercoiffure America/Canada Fall Atelier 2015 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. I couldn’t cover all the great events that took place because I was mostly backstage, nor could I cover all the shows backstage because there was so much going on at the same time, but I hope you like what I did cover. Be warned! Some is highly controversial but also thought provoking. To read the Blog, look at the photos, click HERE (Comments, Likes, an Upvote, Share with Credits are all welcome)

Comment“Selfie” Hair @ Intercoiffure – 2014
Klaus Peter Ochs, President of Intercoiffure Mondial and owner of over 20 salons in Germany presented his “Selfie” Collection recently at Intercoiffure America/Canada’s Fall Atelier 2014. Included in the lively presentation were neo glam rock styles and short haircuts à la Michelle Williams. It was all spot-on as KPO and his team “visualized beauty and the power of the social media. The fashion forecast for the selfie generation,” he forecast, “shows itself narcissistic, intense, exciting and radical.”
Other talents included, Orlando Pita for Kérastase, Peter Gray for EasiHair Pro, Vidal Sassoon Academy North America, Vivienne Mackinder, and more. Click here for inspiration from all:

CommentBig News, Big Change for Vidal Sassoon – 2014
It really is big news. There’s been a change of direction at Vidal Sassoon. Some of the hair the Vidal Sassoon Academy North America presented recently at the intercoiffure America/Canada Fall Atelier in New York was casual looking, with more texture and a modern finish, as seen here with this long layered look, captured on the runway. This is the first look I’ve ever seen from Vidal Sassoon that doesn’t have the ’60s all over it! To the future … For more Sassoons and more from Intercoiffure, click here:
