For a colorific Fall, be inspired by the bright eye shadows slashed magnificently on one eye, a makeup statement by Janell Geason, worn with disheveled cornrows by Jon Reyman, both for Aveda.   The coats, by fashion designer Mountain Yam for 112 mountainyam, were colorific and equally magnificent, shown at the Fashion Hong Kong New York Fashion Week Show for Fall 2019, with the designs of two other designers. Thinking of warm weather during this cold spell?  It can make one  feel warmer!   Janell Geason of Aveda always comes up with interesting usually very wearable makeup ideas during New York Fashion Weeks. Here is her summer sunset ombré eye with pinks and oranges on the brown bone, inspired by the colors in Leann Marshall’s Spring 2018 Show (stay tuned.) Colors used were Aveda’s Petal Essence Lip Liners Dragon Fruit and Barberry Bloom, fading to a yellow pigment (not Aveda.) To see the full face, a how-to, more versions and the Jon Reyman cool hair, CLICK HERE

Perfectly Imperfect Below Brows – 2018

Phrases like Perfectly Imperfect were incorporated into the fashions and made their way to the eyes at the Concept Korea New York Fashion Week Show For Spring 2018 designed by Chung Chung Lee for Lie.  Stickers with the phrases were added below the eyebrows, lead makeup artist Aveda’s Janell Geason. Only the bottom lip was in a neon color. The hair by Jon Reyman was natural and the fashions casual. Stay tuned for more from this show, with designs by Concept Korea’s Greedilous.
