Trend Alert. Captured backstage at the Global Collective NY Fashion Week show for Spring 2020, this lip mustache being painted on a male model with hair up to there. A lip mustache is something new. Black lipstick on the upper lip, with ends curling up, like a mustache of the old days. Worn here with a Frida Kahlo eyebrow. The exaggerated make up on both sexes was by Michelle Strain . The hair was by Jorge Luis, the fashions by Mr Hua/Mrs Hua, a Chinese brand designed by NiuNiu Chou, a fusion of pop art with contemporary styling. Stay tuned for more …

Soft and undone hair by Jorge Luis at the Stella Nolasco New York Fashion Week Fall 2018 show at Pier 59 Studios. This gorgeous lace dress was one of the fashions by the Puerto Rican designer. The hair was blow dried with fingers for a very soft and undone vibe, some strands bent around a 1 1/2″ barrel iron “bent not curled.” Pieces of hair were organically grabbed, pinned up and placed in thin sections, then secured with bobby pins, some strands left out at the front to loosely frame the face. From a cutting edge NYFW Spring 2018 Show, unlike any other at New York Fashion Week, these eclectic fashions for her and him are by Maison The Faux designers Jotis Suk and Tessa de Boer. Gender bender club kids modeled fun fab fashions in black and white and pastels, which included multicolored statement coats, often defined by graphic contrasts, they carried fashionable disposable plastic bags and wore different colored shoes or boots on each foot, The hair, by Jorge Luis and the makeup by Yuui Vision were equally eye-popping – here, pink hair on her, blue and pink hair on him, colored with Manic Panic.
