Pearls Decorate Faces @ NYFW S/S – 2020
Pearls decorated some faces at the Mr.Hua Mrs Hua Global Fashion Collective Spring/Summer 2020 New York Fashion Week Show, a Chinese brand designed by NiuNiu Chou. Featured here, the face pearl decoration is on Miss J. Alexander, who modeled in the show, along with a young kid, who knew how to navigate backstage alongside the fun TV Reality Star. The pearl makeup was by Michelle Strain, who created some exaggerated makeup for the dazzling show, a fusion of pop art with contemporary styling. The hair, in this case, crimped extensions, was by Jorge Luis. To see more of the hair, the makeup and the fashions, stay tuned …

CommentSoft Updo @ Stella Nolasco NYFW – 2018
Soft updo by Jorge Luis for the Stella Nolasca New York Fashion Week Show Fall 2018. The hair was blow dried with fingers for a very soft look, some strands bent around a 1 1/2″ barrel iron – “bent not curled.” The designer, who is from Puerto Rico, said she would auction off and donate some of her feminine fashions with feathers, lace, sequins, sheers and big glasses from the show to benefit the cause. CommentClub Kid Makeup and Hair NYFW – 2018
One eyelid black, the other white, or one eyelid red, the other black, were just two of the mismatched ideas which included hair, as on the photo right, shoes and boots at the gender bender Maison The Faux Spring 218 New York Fashion Week Show. The makeup was by Yuui Vision, the hair by Jorge Luis and what fun it all was with club kids like Chauncey Dominique, left, full of hair extensions, walking the runway. CommentClub Kid Hair @ Maison The Faux NYFW – 2018
Club kid hair at Maison The Faux New York Fashion Week Show for Spring 2018 presented by Made was by Jorge Luis who went with the personal style of the gender benders, then played with their hair color, mostly in pink and blue Manic Panic colors. This hair had pink tipped spikes and the makeup by Yuui Vision was on theme for the show which featured a ritual baptizing models from a water dispenser before they entered vertical incubator tanning beds in a show with a message that all human beings are individuals. Stay tuned for some great club kid fashions from this show unlike any other.

Stunning Hair for Adventurous Brides – 2017
A glorious bridal look by Jorge Luis, large photo, was created with two ponytails, one placed high, one lower, backbrushed for a polished look on the sides. He then gathered the two, sprayed, and added white flowers on the lower side. Bottom Left: A “faux bob” with an amazing architectural finish by Jiwon, Privé, Laurent D Salon with curls manipulated into finger waves, a white flower not showing on the other side. Bottom Right: Laurent D’s half up, half down beauty was backcombed to one side for a casual effect, a small section crimped at the front to simulate a veil. Keke Cifferello’s makeup for Tom Ford included a stark streak of glittered green over the eye and, bottom right, Velvet Cherry Lipstick. As published in The Brides Book Renaissance by Peluquerias Hairstyles, 2o17.

CommentAmazing Architectural Hair Design – 2016
A “faux bob” with an amazing architectural finish. Fabulous. Jiwon, Privé by Laurent D Salon used a ¼” curling iron in very small sections then, with a comb, she manipulated the curls into finger waves to go up to there, with just the right movements. That’s a big white flower, not showing on the other side. For other styles art directed by Jorge Luis with this model, click HERE
