Dear Joy. I am sorry. I can’t help myself when it comes to your hair now. Please please do something about it. I realize your hair has to become healthy again after years of extensions and wigs and you need to color it, but your no no hair during the month of October 2022 is making you, the great beloved journalist that you are, into a cartoon character. I can’t bear to watch you looking like this. The latest mish mash swirling on top of your head, top center, had me switch programs last night. The weird pouff in the large photo to the right, had the same effect recently. Just keep it simple. And try to have your hairdresser do something about the fact you have a high forehead and to style bearing that in mind. A well cut gamine, Julius Caesar hair, perhaps. I can recommend a good hairdresser I know you will love, who will understand your hair, and you. She is based in New York, but maybe she could come up with a style, a strategy, that your studio hairdressers can follow. You do need hair help of another kind.

Joy Reid the beloved MSNBC host and national correspondent like no other has finally settled on her own hair, and for more than one night. So far! Having entertained most and annoyed many with her provocative nightly hair changes, as in this collage, she must have decided it is time make her own hair healthy, which must have suffered with all those extensions and under all those wigs. Let’s hope she is on her way to a healthier head of hair. But, dear Joy, please consider changing the color. It has too much orange in it and could look so much better as your healthier hair grows in.

Joy Reid’s hair now, in July 2021, is back to braids and interesting, perhaps the most interesting of any tv host in America. We are treated to different provocative styles by this provocative MSNBC host and national correspondent, sometimes nightly. She has mostly got her hair act together now, having been through more than a few Oops hair moments. The wigs she wore when she started her popular prime time “Reid Out” are gone for now, I always thought another hairdresser could have made them more stylish because they seldom if ever worked. You have to give it to Joy Reid of MSNBC, she is into hair. And changes her styles almost every TV appearance. She went from many different short haircuts and wigs to longer hair, mostly braided now and many different designs. They don’t all work and sometimes I want her to bonk her hairdresser, but she is a joy to behold and gets an A for effort. Here she is over the last few months, mostly with braids, but once during the height of the lockdown, she showed her own natural hair, quickly changed. Go for it, Joy. Go for it … You are not only a great journalist but must also be an Inspiration to many.
