Bohemian Bride, Wild Free Hair - 2018

Photo: Chris Brychy

This  Bohemian bride has wild and free hair, lived in hair, with braids which have been constructed with neat, clean sections, controlled, then deconstructed. A powder was used for texture, volume, grip, and to help expand and pull the braid apart. A tiara adds more magic.  For more 2018 bridal ideas, with 28 inspirational photos just archived in a new album, CLICK HERE

New Bohemian Bridal Hair Movement - 2018

Photos: Chris Brychy

Page from my column in the May 2018 Bridal issue of Peluquerias Magazine. This is hair for wild and free brides, inspired by the new Bohemian bridal movement and strong women. “We are currently seeing many brides wanting a slightly less contrived, free spirit look,” says Danielle Keasling, who advises neat, clean sections, braids in control, the look only deconstructed after there is a solid foundation, nothing messy. Tips: She uses a powder product for texture, volume, grip, to help expand and pull the braid apart, also a mini crimper creates texture and expansion. Emma Katka’s Bridal Hair Jewelry adds what every bride wants – more magic. To see the new bridal album full of hair inspiration, including more brides from this collection, CLICK HERE

A romantic crown of roses on top of long cascading hair has a fairytale bohemian feel and is the way many brides would love to look.   By Danielle Keasling, Salon Karma who says the model’s amazingly thick hair was given even more volume with a cocktail of products and 20 pre-set clip-on human hair extensions by Racquel Welch for HairUWear, after which the hair was finger-combed.  For more bridal  hair inspirations, click HERE

Avant-Garde Grey Hair Graphic Creation - 2015

The grey hair color trend is reflected in this avant-garde graphic creation by Nicholas French.   The hair was sprayed, dried with a diffuser to set, a fabric-type texture created, which was then cut to shape with ends flying here and there.  The silver eye mask by David Maderich was created by using silver metallics by Kryolan.
