Star Wars-Inspired Nails by Zoya – 2015
The nails by Zoya at the Mara Hoffman Fall 2015 New York Fashion Week show were inspired by the sunset scenes from the “Star Wars” movie, the theme for the show. The colors were Earthones, and had a ’70s vibe, like the collection. Alicia Torello, the lead manicurist, started with Zoya Ziv, then added Brittany for the round sun. “To create shapes,” she advised, “start at the bottom with Taylor, going from light to dark. Make natural swipes diagonally down the nail with Aubrey and finish with Normani , with quick natural swipes across the bottom.” The lines can be a little messy if you want to try this yourself. Hair from the show coming soon. Stay tuned …
