Peter Gray and his team put on a spectacular post-apocalyptic extravaganza of a hair show at the Contessa Awards for 2017 in Toronto. The dedicated team, too many to mention, worked around the clock for days to wow, and they did. With futuristic innovation and elegance. The hair (large photo) was rolled up and back, big, other hair was waved like no other, others rising up to there with twists and turns, braids Mohawk-style with plenty of back interest, all offset with some amazing tattoos. These Renaissance-inspired waves cascading by Esther Langham were photographed backstage, after the Nanette Lepore New York Fashion Week Show for Fall 2010. I was amazed at how well the waves had lasted. Not all Fashion Week waves last!! Some don’t make it to the runway looking as good as these.
