This is the high fashion Barbie eye by Charlotte Tilbury created for the Barbie New York Fashion Week Show, Fall/Winter 2009. The “Venetian Masque Barbie Eye” featured feathers, sequins and amazement.
The hair, by Orlando Pita for this show, was also amazing. I have the photos on film, waiting to be converted to digital along with a whole box full of backstage hair photos I took and have yet to archived on my website – helenoppenheim.com

Classic Lulu Bobbed Hair @ NYFW – 2009

We came across the model Misha Yakovenko taking a breather in Bryant Park before the Sabyasachi New York Fashion Week Show in 2009, when her Lulu bob walked the runway. Not new, classic, always beautiful. And very easy to maintain. It probably needs a cut only every 6-9 weeks and if it rains, there it will be, not losing its shape. There is never a bad hair day with this haircut if well done. Not so easy as it looks to do it well, with harmony front, back and sides. Her makeup was by Patrick Eishler for M.A.C. and included lips with a deep semi-matte currant color and a beautiful see-thru oil on eyes and cheekbones.
