Think pink fur, so glamorous, as seen here at the Area New York Fashion Week Show for Fall 2016. Pink fur, all pinks, will be big this fall and winter. Worn here with a metallic pink lamé dress, designed by Beckett Fogg and Plotrek Panszczyk. The nails, by Tracylee had Swarovski crystals in strategic places here and there, not on every nail. The color was “Make Me Blush” by Red Carpet. Faces were by Georgina Graham for MAC Cosmetics, inspired by “cool girls who have a minimal street feeling,” The lip was a delicious matte chocolate, a new Mac Eye Gloss was introduced. Vera Wang at her best. Long skirts. With splits. The fabulous fashions at her New York Fashion Week Show for Fall 2016 included these plastron leather-strapped looks, inspired by the large pad fencers wear to protect their chests. The elongated silhouette, inspired by Amedeo Modigliani and Alberto Giacometti, was offset by mid-parted long sleek hair tucked into high collars, by Paul Hanlon for Pai-Shau, and monster platforms. Shades of pastel pinks on a mid-parted one-length bob, by Peter Gray for the Nicopanda Fall 2016 New York Fashion Week Presentation were stroked on with wash-out pure pigment chalks. Maki Ryoke’s eye was strong, an exaggerated cat’s eye with black extending gracefully right to the hairline.
