 Crimp Extravaganza @ NYFW Fall - 2016

Captured backstage at the Naeem Khan New York Fashion Week show for Fall 2016, this crimp extravaganza – and not finished yet! False hair was added, crimped, then brushed out, backcombed, pinned up, shaped and styled. Each head of hair took about an hour to do. Stay tuned for more crimped masterpieces, some hairstyles in their own right, the finished looks at this show which featured some dazzling, shimmery, gorgeous glam gowns – with big, beautiful hair.

Grunge met street at Nicola Formichetti’s Nicopanda Fall 2016 Presentation. Take a look at some of the cool sneakers which included high platforms, ruffles, all wrapped up with ties, straps and buckles. Seen on Scene during New York Fashion Week for Fall 2016 – Zachary, aka Zak, a Warren Tricomi Stylist (#ZStyled) His disconnected barber cut with length on top was by Anthony Diaco at the Warren-Tricomi Madison Avenue Salon, and the wash-out art chalks used on the stripes were by Edward Tricomi, who used blue ones on the models at the Just Drew Show.   Stay tuned …

Seen on Scene at New York Fashion Week for Fall 2016 – Courtney Covino, a makeup artist with Mac Cosmetics, photographed at the Francesca Liberatore New York Fashion Week Show for Fall 2o16 with rasta braids and beads, and a lot happening on that hair which is all dressed up with this and that, a trend.  Two nose rings, and colorofic tattoos complete the look.

Mac Cosmetics create makeup for over a hundred shows worldwide during Fashion Weeks, with over 300 makeup artists, all using a ton of makeup, in textures and colors we may all be wearing in future seasons. The Canadian-born makeup trendsetter, now owned by Estée Lauder Companies, have makeup artists backstage who make sure their hair is as interesting as their fashions and makeup.

Seen on Scene 11. Fab Fashionista in Varsity fashions which were huge last year and will continue into the Spring, and the Fall. The sporty Varsity look with a ’70s vintage vibe was worn with class and a modern look by fashion and lifestyle blogger Sage Coralli (@sosageblog) at a Maybelline New York Fashion Week event for Fall 2016.   She says on her Instagram – “be unpredictable, free-spirited, borderline crazy and she got it together here with a vintage Dolce and Gabbana cardigan jacket complete with letters/patches, stripes, a great lips clutch by Nasty Gal, shoes by Zara, Miu Miu sunglasses, Neiman Marcus fur.
