Seen on Scene, two Fab Fashionistas, avant-gardes and their hair, captured backstage at the Concept Korea New York Fashion Week Show for Fall 2017. Left, Paty Crabtree for Aveda, of Garbos Salon & Spa, Omaha, Nebraska, has a lot going on with her hair. Why does it always snow for Fashion Week? It snowed plenty on the very first day, second day very cold, so snow still there. So much more civilized when the shows were in April, after Paris. The NYFW shows moved to Clarkson Square, a long way, very inconvenient to get to – and, worse, from – for this Upper East Sider (me) so I am not enjoying the week as much as I used to. Not helped by the fact most of the fashion designers do not want hair the least bit interesting, and all too often want boring boring hair, so it is hard to justify the full page minimum we give in Peluquerias Magazine. Yes, I will get some interesting photos, so stay tuned, but it won’t be easy !!!
