Funky fab fashions, head to toe, from the Libertine New York Fashion Week Show for Spring 2016, designer Johnson Hartig, stylist Maryann Malakpour. On the left, check the neon chains around the neck, the wrists, the shoes, the black dress with patches and appliqués. Take in the deconstructed hosiery. To the right, the emojis tell the story on a simple white jacket with chains dangling from the sleeves. The hair, by Thomas Osborn, Catwalk for TIGI, was deconstructed, undone but polished. CommentBraided Hair, Sculptured Wired Backs – 2015
Jon Reyman’s braided hair going this way and that was inspired by “rams horns” and used wires at the back for the sculptured, modern looks he created for the Tenby Presentation at New York Fashion Week, Spring 2016. The fashions and this lovely lace dress were designed by Kara Janx who said she was inspired by an “enchanted garden” for her debut collection. For more great looks, click HERE
