Backstage @ Fashion Shows – 2016
My latest Blog as a Guest Contributor for Modern Salon has just arrived. Backstage @ Fashion Shows is about photographing hair backstage. How to get the most out of what goes on backstage during New York Fashion Weeks, also for any show or event. I blog from the viewpoint of a PhotoJournalist after some sixteen years photographing backstage. I also get personal!! Here is just one of the images, all showing most of the world’s leading hairdressers in action. Check it out, click HERE

CommentBeautiful Bracelets NYFW – 2016
The gorgeous gowns by Badgley Mischka at their New York Fashion Week show for Spring 2016 were sensuous, inspired by 1950s Buenos Aires. Some of the lightweight gowns which drifted down the runway had floral appliqués, many were shown with beautiful bracelets by Patricia Von Musulin, and some charming evening bags finished the looks. Stay tuned for the hair by Peter Gray with more red carpet gown and jewelry inspirations …

CommentBackstage Baby With Headband @ NYFW – 2015
The youngest fab fashionista, Violet, was photographed backstage at New York Fashion Week for Badgley Mischka’s Spring 2016 Show. She was wearing a very fashionable headband with her fab fashions, from head to toe. Her Mother, Emily, is a Badgley Mishka Fashion Designer and it was noted Violet was wearing embellishments on her dress, and forehead, like those on the runway. CommentFun, Fab Fashion at Libertine #NYFW Spring – 2016
Just one of the fab fashions by Libertine for #NYFW Spring 2016. “The collection was inspired by diverse sources, including German artist Blinky Palermo, Tibetan Buddhist Monks and Florescence microscopy cell research.” This has a boho chic ’70s feel, modernized, and worn with TIGI’s undone but polished deconstructed hair and deconstructed Hue hosiery and, well, check the details. Stay tuned for more from this fun show.
