Betsey Johnson’s girly brides from her Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week show for Summer 2009 were something else, playful, memorable. The terrific theatrics included handcuffed brides and pirates, inspired by fairytales. ’80s modern bobbed wigs by Italo Gregorio for Redken wowed in white, as here, but also in pink, turquoise, purple, black, topped off by hats with veil.
