The audience at the Intercoiffure Fall Atelier for 2016 last Sunday was challenged to envision beauty without the filter of gender by one of the great shows on the two-day program. The Nouveau Creative Team, led by the controversial and always interesting Perry Monge, offered cutting edge hairstyles and looks “as mind-bending as they are gender-bending,” according to the Phoenix salon owner. It may ruffle a few feathers for this reason or that. But here is my Blog on modernsalon.com featuring photos I took during the Intercoiffure America/Canada Fall Atelier 2015 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. I couldn’t cover all the great events that took place because I was mostly backstage, nor could I cover all the shows backstage because there was so much going on at the same time, but I hope you like what I did cover.
