Stunning Hair for Adventurous Brides – 2017

Photos: Roberto Ligresti

A glorious bridal look by Jorge Luis, large photo, was created with two ponytails, one placed high, one lower, backbrushed for a polished look on the sides. He then gathered the two, sprayed, and added white flowers on the lower side. Bottom Left: A “faux bob” with an amazing architectural finish by Jiwon, Privé, Laurent D Salon with curls manipulated into finger waves, a white flower not showing on the other side.   Bottom Right: Laurent D’s half up, half down beauty was backcombed to one side for a casual effect, a small section crimped at the front to simulate a veil. Keke Cifferello’s makeup for Tom Ford included a stark streak of glittered green over the eye and, bottom right, Velvet Cherry Lipstick. As published in The Brides Book Renaissance by Peluquerias Hairstyles, 2o17.

A “faux bob” with an amazing architectural finish. Fabulous. Jiwon, Privé by Laurent D Salon used a ¼” curling iron in very small sections then, with a comb, she manipulated the curls into finger waves to go up to there, with just the right movements. That’s a big white flower, not showing on the other side.  For other styles art directed by Jorge Luis with this model, click HERE

Traditional brides wear veils but more and more brides are not.  These rich-looking brides at the Galia Lahav Spring 2017 Couture Bridal Show had gold leaf painted on their heads for a headdress effect which was absolutely stunning.  Jorge Luis, Privé Salon, first added mouse to the hair to act as a glue, then he placed the foil on top of the head, and used the end of  a rattail comb to give texture to the foil making it look like the most amazing jewelry.  Stay tuned for more brides from this collection on Helen Oppenheim’s Facebook Biz Buzz …
