Betsey Johnson’s brides from her Summer 2009 Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week show were fabulous. And memorable. The terrific theatrics included handcuffed brides and pirates, inspired by children’s fairytales. ’80s modern bobbed synthetic wigs by Italo Gregorio for Redken Fifth Avenue wowed in pink, white, turquoise, purple, black, topped by white hats, with veils. The girly gowns were glorious. Fulvia’s doll faces using Make Up Forever had pink heart lips, a hot pink blush, white lids, fake painted lashes on the bottom lid.
