Rare Vidal Sassoon HighHair Photo – 1980
This is a color version of the famous Vidal Sassoon HighHair black and white photo with hair by Graham Wren, with the same model. It is rare, not known at all. It was photographed in 1980, as part of the iconic collection, which included this Sassooning for Evening look with crimped hair, half up and half down. “For dreamy nights out,” I said in the press release. Vidal Sassoon HighHair Illusion – 1980
This HighHair style was part of Sassooning for Evening conceived to be a totally new direction for Vidal Sassoon in 1980!!!
The illusion of HighHair, the height of style, was achieved by pulling the model’s own hair through the center of a matching false hair-covered ornament place high on top of the head – made by Avram, who also made the cloud cube as part of the surreal/cloud theme of the collection.
