Day 5 at Mercedes-Benz NY Fashion Week for Fall 2014. Rachel in white wears a Walter Baker coat, Opening Ceremony skirt, Top Shop top and a Judith Leiber tiny pink bow bag, the new big thing … Nicole wears an H&M cape, a 10 year old Mango skirt, Zara sweater and a Judith Leiber bag. Day 3 at NY Fashion Week was a problem day. I lost my notebook with all the names/info/emails of the people I photographed for the Blog. It might turn up, I had my contact details in it and have contacted all who can help. I have only two names, so please forgive me everyone else and know I will rectify if a kind heart found it. Here is what I remember. Top left, hair swirl on someone who works with Michael Kors, his ring and watch follow … Mara Hoffman jewelry designer Fillibyluiny.com, photographed backstage with blue hair, nose ring, a dress and jewelry like no other … TIGI hairdresser with green hair … Bottom left to right: avant-garde fashion designer with hair gelled up to there … High platform sneakers … Journalism/PR student with jewel-encrusted headband, pearls who wants to intern at Vogue after graduation … At Mara Hoffman backstage, Scott Wimsett, bespokebanter.com in his cool coat from Morocco … fun hat … two fashionista bloggers … Loose pigtails, pleats, great jacket. Day 2, love the Mercedes-Benz NY Fashion Week heart logo #MBFW (by Haines) … the lady in red from top to toe is “Ginger” the blogger of Ginger-Snap.com … my favorite male fashionista Patrick McDonald, whom I have photographed for years in one eye-catching outfit after another, was looking very colorful at the Papyrus booth – where they were giving away fab cards to the lucky few, and mailing to anywhere in the world … Left to right bottom: Brooke Kelly wears a Reformation velvet dress with big hat and the redhead is Quinn, a Wilhelmina model, both photographed after the Charlotte Ronson show … Bandeau of interest on Aveda hairdresser … Aveda’s Patti Chiasson with purple in her hair, tattoos, bling and a lot going on, including crochet threads at the ready around her neck for the Academy of Art University show – lead hair by Jon Reyman, photos up on my website soon, as will photos in my blogs. Day 1 at New York Fashion Week was cold with lots of snow not yet fully cleared when I was there very early in the day! Not much time but here’s a few fashionables Seen on the Scene. The man on the left was interesting from top to toe, and in between. He ran off into a taxi before I could get his name and details of all the fun stuff he was wearing. The lilac hair with furs and different-colored glitter nails is Andy Crosten. Bottom, shoes photographed in the very long, windy/cold line up for press credentials!
