Rare. Illustrations by Serge Lutens, the great Dior Makeup Designer of the 70s. Done overnight for me after I had interviewed him for an article in The Montreal Gazette. “How To Make Your Own Million Dollar Face,” he wrote on the top. He had just come from New York where the Guggenheim Museum had opened an exhibition of his Makeup Art, with adaptations from famous art periods and artists. I was so honored he created these amusing illustrations just for me. He is known for his extraordinary photographs as well as his amazing makeup, but not for his illustrations.
