Falls Up To There Caught With Jewels – 1967
Through the 60s, Falls were added to hair, often caught with jewels and ornaments as in this 1967 look up to there by Christophe Carita, La Maison de Beauté Carita, Paris, who are scheduled to reopen their famous multi-floor space, once occupied by Maria Antoinette’s wig maker, at 11 Rue Faubourg St Honore in September 2022.
Christophe Cartia was the nephew of the famous Carita Sisters, Maria and Rosy, and they all dominated the Paris hair scene in Paris from the ‘50s through the 60s, later merging with Shisheido.
