The designs Hiroko Koshino showed at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo for Spring/Summer 2024 were surreal, shapes with artistic curves, straight lines waved softly, gracefully.

Fashion Designer Catherine Malandrino was inspired by Man Ray’s “The Net” photo, 1931, by Schiaparelli and the Surrealists of the ’30s for her Fall 2009 New York Fashion Week Show. Odile Gilbert interpreted with amazing hairstyles, perfect to go with the amazing Malandrino surreal dresses, jewelry, bags. Odile Gilbert, one of the great hairdressers of all time, sees something she’s not sure about backstage for Sebastian at Catherine Malandrino’s Fall 2009 NY Fashion Week show, which took place at the Rainbow Room. I always loved this photo, and the hair and the fashions at one of my favorite fashions shows.
