Nike Shorts for Men @ French Open – 2023

I have to say it. I think the Nike shorts trend for men at the French Open for 2023 is silly. The idea maybe good, something different coming from the street, but it doesn’t work from all angles in reality. This is a trend which may not happen. On the other hand, it may. What do you think?
Top players are wearing them at the Roland Garros Clay court event on now, on the Tennis Channel in America, Eurosport in Europe, until June 11. (The semi-finals and final will also be on NBC in America but, be warned, they don’t always broadcast the full match, sometimes wanting us to pay for Peacock to see the end. Safer to watch the Tennis Channel repeats, if they and you have them!!)
Left to right: Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz … Canada’s Denis Shapovalov … America’s Taylor Fritz.
And others have fallen for the look!
Colorific Coco Gauff in Canada – 2022

Coco Gauff must surely be the most colorific tennis player out there, in tournament after tournament. Not only that, but her braided hair is always interesting, with colorful headbands. No matchy matchy for Coco, but the colors always work, and dazzle. Here she is in action at the National Bank Open in Toronto, Canada, August 11, 2022, wearing her New Balance fab fashions, from top to toe, and that includes her new signature modern vintage shoe – and her ombré underwear. The 18 year old, who plays singles and doubles, a future champ for sure, signed with New Balance when she was 14 and it was a very smart move because they are helping her to coordinate her look, to take it where no other tennis player has been.
