Natural looking hair with long thin braids crisscrossed with white thread were to one side of the head at the dazzling Jonathan Simkhai New York Fashion Week Show for Spring 2017. “It was all about creating texture that isn’t too polished,” said Thomas Osborn who led the Catwalk by TIGI Team. “We wanted to keep the hair down and natural looking with an element of dry roughness to highlight the collection,” he said.   Beads were added at the ends of some braids, and a long slim earring ending in a bead or two was on the other side of the head. High necks and fabric choker looks with long ends dangling were featured on many models in this show of romantic dresses for red carpets, galas, drop dead entrances. The barrettes by TIGI for the Libertine New York Fashion Week Fall 2016 show came in pops of color, shapes and sizes and we can expect to see this fun spot on idea catch on. “The hair,” said Thomas Osborn, TIGI’s US Session and Creative Director, “was an untroubled chic look that included a messy one-sided braid with a natural texture on the other side and the whimsical barrettes decorating the heads here and there, randomly at the back.” Brilliant. All shades of pink furs, from pale to hot, are a trend for Fall, as this winner with hot pinks at the edgy stunning show, which included some fur shoes tdf.  More for her and him from this fabulous Libertine show designed by Johnson Hartig, click HERE

Just one of the fab fashions by Libertine for #NYFW Spring 2016.    “The collection was inspired by diverse sources, including German artist Blinky Palermo, Tibetan Buddhist Monks and Florescence microscopy cell research.” This has a boho chic ’70s feel, modernized, and worn with TIGI’s undone but polished deconstructed hair and deconstructed Hue hosiery and, well, check the details. Stay tuned for more from this fun show.
