Cooked Wet-Looking Mashed Hair – 2016
The hair, by Jon Reyman, Aveda, for the Academy of Art University School of Fashion New York Fashion Week Show for Spring 2016 was cooked, wet-looking “dirty” hair. It felt stiff and sticky, swirled and mashed around the top of the head, the back left long. All had a wet look which was not wet, a Jon Reyman signature style. Men’s hair is getting longer again for the avant-garde and it’s only a matter of time before more men are growing their hair longer, as seen here on this gorgeous man at the Nicopanda Spring 2016 New York Fashion Week Presentation. Peter Gray, who did three different hair looks for this Presentation likes “the wet, sweaty head, sort of like someone just came out of a concert,” he explained. “Although the hair looks wet, it’s dry and the moisture is sealed into the hair.” More, click HERE
