Thank You, from the bottom of my heart, to all who have posted, for all the wonderful words. They make all the scanning, retouching dust marks, creases in decades old photos, the resizing,
massive research, many 14 hour days, angst and sleepless nights worth while. ~Helen O
I’m so happy I knew you then and now reconnecting. Your website brings back so many memories plus I am still able to learn so much from other stylist I never met, great job! It is surely appreciated, all your time and effort!
Keep it rocking,
Lois
This site is a tribute to those who create hair for images out of a passion for the medium. It is truly a privilege to have been selected and championed by Helen’s discerning eye, being a part of her selection certainly drives me to be more critical of my own work! I am inspired and challenged by her access and collection of amazing historical and current images. I would heartily recommend this site to anyone interested in fashion, beauty or hair, wanting to know where our craft and business comes from, and where it’s future lies! Thank you! PG
The site looks so amazing – thank you for doing such a great job and making this all available. And a BIG thank you for including Antonio Lopez. He helped start my career as a makeup artist and I miss him, he was such an inspiration and a kind man. best, Margret
Helen, this site is soooooo wonderful for all the hairdressers, make up artists, stylists, the team workers who help create a photograph. Everyone who LOVES fashion will want to see your website. I am honored to be part of it.
ALL THIS SHOULD BE SHOWN TO UPCOMING TALENT AND TO INDUSTRY MEMBERS WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE INSPIRED……..
Hi Helen,
Love, love, love this website! Very inspiring and a great archive for anyone interested in the history of hair and some of the greats that created these timeless looks. It’s amazing to look back and think about a time when there were no digital cameras and there was no photoshop to clean up every shot. A website every young hairstylist some visit.
Thank You for creating this.

I can not say enough amazing things about my friend and mentor, Helen. This woman knows her stuff and has a gift! The best word of advice, if you are lucky enough to get advice from her, is FOLLOW IT! She knows what she’s talking about!!! She truly has given me so much honest and helpful insight! She helped me get my very first international publication and from here on out it’s really changed everything for me! Thank you Helen! In my book of life changing individual’s, her name is listed! Thank you Helen for every email, every word and your amazing guidance. Danielle Keasling

Excellent website Helen – the design is really good and as a non-industry person I’ve really enjoyed looking at the older pictures, especially the k-k-krazy sixties and seventies

like what you saw!
