Vidal Sassoon HighHair Illusion - 1980

Photo: Lorraine Sylvestre

This HighHair style was part of  Sassooning for Evening conceived to be a totally new direction for Vidal Sassoon in 1980!!!

The illusion of HighHair, the height of style, was achieved  by pulling the model’s own hair through the center of a matching false hair-covered ornament place high on top of the head – made by Avram, who also made the cloud cube as part of the surreal/cloud theme of the collection.   For more, HairThen, Vidal Sassoon, HighHair on helenoppenheim.com
